We had a fantastic stay at Slaughters Manor House! The service was excellent and the staff were very professional and attentive. The magnolia room we stayed in initially was absolutely wonderful. The hotel itself is chic and exquisite, with beautiful surroundings. The food was delicious, and we highly recommend both lunch and dinner. A morning walk around the village was a refreshing experience. it was a great stay and we would definitely recommend this hotel.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Having stayed here before we felt that the service has improved. The staff are very attentive and made us feel at home. The open log fires added to the luxurious yet cozy atmosphere.

Lovely room in a lovely location, we would be happy to recommend it highly. (We also checked out The Lord of the Manor in the next village for our next visit - miserable unwelcoming staff - do not stay there!)
Overly attentive staff and frequently pushing the three course dinner at £65 per head focusing on price not content. Garden needs some tlc.

Stylish venue, great for families with toddlers. Friendly staff, especially the witty English waiter. Lovely location in a picturesque village. High standard, homely touches, and well-equipped rooms. Tranquil and idyllic setting with a rich history.

Everything ... from its idyllic location in a beautiful Cotswold village (with NO traffic or noise) to its excellent rooms, service and everything else one can expect of a luxury hotel ... were it to be star-rated, them 5* would not be enough.
We only stayed 1 night and the 1 thing we found not to our satisfaction was that the Hotel was fully booked the following weekend and we were unable to extend our stay :-((

The hotel surroundings were amazing, with a beautiful and tranquil location. The staff made us feel very welcome and provided excellent service. Peter, who works there, gave us a detailed tour of the ground-floor, sharing the history of the house/hotel. The rooms were equipped with thoughtful touches like informative materials, snacks, and Sloe Gin. The parking facilities were ample.
Felt very lucky to have found such a wonderful hotel, there was no reason to complain.

We booked Lower Slaughter as we had dined there before and I chose the venue as part of our celebrations for my Partners 60th Birthday. From the start of our arrival the service and reception was terrific. Our room was spectacular, both clean and comfortable overlooking the Gardens. The evening meal was as good as we have ever encountered and the Head waiter could not do enough for us.
There was nothing to dislike!!!

The room was lovely, some of the staff were friendly others however found it hard to pull a smile, some of them however were quite friendly, I would not recommend to travel with kids to this hotel as they r not terribly child friendly. Their sister restaurant across the road is no good, I mentioned since it is the only alternative to Dining with kids in lower slaughters. I would return however with any children. I was very disappointed when I found out that I had to book to have high tea in the afternoon, no one told me when I enquirered, I found this ridiculous.
